Rose Amoah is the Senior Manager – Finance at Iduapriem Mine. She has over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry in areas that include financial and management accounting, financial controls, treasury, taxation, financial reporting systems implementation, and procurement and supply chain. She spearheaded the cost control and management accounting process which led Iduapriem to achieve a record all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of $890/oz in 2019 and played an integral part in the successful implementation of SAP and TM1 at Iduapriem.

Rose previously worked for Teberebie Goldfields Ltd (TGL) for ten years and joined Ashanti Goldfields when they took over TGL. She has held various positions, including Management Accountant, Senior Financial Reporting Superintendent, and Chief Accountant.

She holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Liverpool, UK, and Associate in Management Practice (IMDP) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).
