Our people
People are central to our operations with the employment of people from within Ghana and our host communities a priority. Our recruitment policy promotes workforce localisation and is supported by skills development and talent management programmes.
Community projects
Our community development programmes aim to promote resilient, self-sustaining communities that will be able to survive once mining has ended. These programmes are intended to be income generating and to foster sustainable livelihoods.
Responding to COVID-19
We continue to work with employees, communities and government to navigate the pandemic and keep everyone safe. Initiatives, aimed both at employees and surrounding communities, include awareness and personal hygiene campaigns.
